Welcome to Beaver Mountain night skiing and snowboarding.
NIGHT SKIING/PRIVATE GROUP EVENTS
Night skiing & snowboarding is offered mainly as private events, closed to the public. There are a few public nights throughout the season. Beaver Mountain night operations consist of lit runs accessed by our Little Beaver Lift and magic carpet surface lift and access to the lodge, rental shop, and lessons. A private contract allows your group an evening of skiing and snowboarding with the entire area to yourselves at a reasonable rate.
The Little Beaver Lift and surface lift run from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. for your enjoyment. Rental equipment and lift passes are available beginning at 4:45 p.m. Beginner lessons are taught at 6:00. Detailed information listed below.
Check out our events calendar for public night skiing and other upcoming activities.

- SLEDDING OR TUBING IS NOT PERMITTED AT ANY TIME ANYWHERE ON THE MOUNTAIN.
- Personal ATVs and snowmobiles are not allowed on Beaver Mountain at any time.
- Season passes are designated as unlimited day use only and are never valid for night skiing.
EVERYTHING YOU NEED OR WANT TO KNOW ABOUT NIGHT PARTIES AT THE BEAV
LIFT PASS COSTS:
Monday through Thursday evenings, the cost for a lift pass is just $15 per person, regardless of age. Friday and Saturday lift passes are $20. For private groups, there is a minimum requirement of 100 lift passes (total minimum guarantee of $1500 on Monday – Thursday and $2000 for Friday and Saturday. This minimum includes the lodge rental.) The contracted group is responsible for any outstanding balance if there is a deficit in minimum numbers. Every person riding the lift must have a lift pass. A pass is not required for those guests who are enjoying the lodge and not participating in skiing or boarding.
RENTAL EQUIPMENT:
Ski & snowboard rental packages are available right at the mountain for just $20. Helmet rentals are $10. Ski rental packages include skis, boots, and poles. Snowboard packages include snowboard and boots. Only complete packages are available at night. Helmets can be rented separately. We have limited numbers of pants and jackets that can be rented as well. We do not rent gloves or mittens. All rentals must be paid at the time the package is rented & require a drivers’ license or credit card to be left as a security deposit.
LESSONS:
Beginner group lessons are offered for those who have never skied or snowboarded. Lesson time is 6:00 p.m. and runs for 1-1/2 hours. The minimum age to participate in ski lessons is 7, and the age 9 for snowboarding. Reservations are required for lessons as class sizes are limited. Reservations can be made by calling the Mountain Snowsports School, at 435 946-3610 ext. 2. To allow for proper staffing, reservations must be made by noon the day before your party. Each lesson costs just $20 and must be paid at the time of reservation. This is non-refundable. Instructors are scheduled based on the number of reservations. If no reservations are made, no instructors will be available for lessons. If an instructor has been scheduled and spots remain in the class, you may sign up for a lesson the night of the party for just $25, but this is based on availability. If you really want a lesson, don’t leave it to chance and make a reservation! Lessons begin promptly at 6:00. Please be on time; the class does not wait for late arrivals.
Ski tip clamps can be rented from the ticket office. The cost is $12, but you will receive a $10 refund when the clamp is returned. Lesson participation is not required to rent ski tip clamps.
THE LODGE:
The price of the lodge is included in your lift pass pricing. The lodge will be open to enjoy, mingle, and warm up during night skiing. Tables, chairs, couches, a gas fireplace, and large windows overlooking the ski hill make this a great place for sitting back, socializing, playing games, watching videos, etc. We invite skiers and non-skiers alike to enjoy our lodge during night skiing. During our public night events, stop in and enjoy dinner, a snack, or hot cocoa at the Beaver Mountain Café. The Café is generally closed during private contract evenings. You may request that it be open, but you must guarantee a minimum of $250 in sales. You can choose to have the full menu available or just specific items. Any shortage of the minimum will be the responsibility of the contracted group. Catering is also available through the Beaver Mountain Café and Off-Premise Catering. Ask for menu/catering options when booking your evening.
FOOD AND DRINK:
The Beaver Mountain Grill will not be open during private events. Many groups bring their dinners, potluck, donuts, hot cocoa, etc. ***Due to Health Department requirements, the public is not permitted in the commercial kitchen. Groups who bring their own food will not have access to any part of the kitchen, including water, cleanup, etc.*** There are plenty of outlets around the lodge for crockpots, warmers, etc. If you would like to plan activities in the lodge running later than 9:30 p.m., this must be arranged in advance. There will be a charge of $50 per hour for any group staying past 9:30 p.m. This will be charged in hourly increments only.
NO OUTSIDE CATERERS ARE ALLOWED – NO EXCEPTIONS.
RESERVATIONS:
Please call our Logan Office at (435) 753-0921 for night skiing reservations. Many of our night ski groups return year after year. We offer a waiting list if there is no availability or if the night you prefer is not available. Once your night becomes available, a $200 deposit is required to secure your reservation. As most groups do roll over from year to year, we will hold the deposit, securing your night for as long as your group would like to keep it. If you would like to release your night, your deposit will be returned in full or may be applied to any outstanding balance. A minimum notice of 3 weeks is required for cancellations, or your deposit is forfeited.
