The Beaver Mountain Difference
Family-owned and family-focused since 1939.
When Harold Seeholzer started Beaver Mountain in 1939, his dream was to create a place where people could bring their family together and teach them to love to ride as much as he did. As generations of Seeholzers worked in every aspect of the resort from then until now, they’ve continued to have that singular focus; making families feel at home so they can continue to create great memories with every single visit. So come and make yourself at home. Our mountain is your mountain.
Thrilling terrain, front to back.
This is amazing fall line skiing—just like at the big corporate resorts, but without the long lines and insane prices. The natural flow of the Wasatch mountains has created a ton of downhill trails for every rider—some over two miles long—and it’s blanketed every season with 400 inches of that fluffy, dry powder riders dream of. (And not to brag about our epic backside, but that’s got some pretty sweet powder, too!)
The power of powder.
If you’re an avid rider, you know that Utah’s powder is “The best snow on earth.” It has the perfect lift and density to float your skis or snowboard through, with an average of a foot of snow every five days in season. And at Beaver Mountain, almost all our runs are East-facing, so when you turn the corner on Beaver Road, you always see white on the mountain—groomed to perfection, every time.
