USU ski or snowboard class
This is an opportunity for the public to join the USU students for a series of 7 group lessons. Classes are held weekly, Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday afternoons from Jan 14 - Feb 28. All skill levels are taught. The cost for the series is $100. Register through Beaver Mountain Logan office or at the Mountain Snowsports school.
Learn-To-Turn - First Time Beginner Package
This is a great package deal for people who have never skied or boarded. Minimum age for ski lessons is 7 and minimum age for snowboarding is 9. Cost is $55 and includes rental equipment, a Little Beaver Lift Ticket, and a group lesson. Lessons begin at 10 a.m. daily and again at 1 p.m. on Friday, Saturday, Sunday and holidays. You must arrive and sign up by 9:30 or 12:30 to allow time to set up equipment. Lesson only is $35.
Private lessons are available in hourly increments and are often available on a walk-in basis. However, reservations are recommended and may be made at the Mountain by calling (435) 946-3610, extension 1. There is no minimum age for private lessons.
Prices for Private Lessons
$55 for 1 hr, $20 for each additional person.
$95 for 2 hrs, $35 for each additional person.
$135 for 3 hrs, $50 for each additional person.
Mountain Adventure, Freestyle, Teletribe and Rug Rats (Children's Group Lessons)
Mountain Adventure is a popular weekend series of lessons for skiers of at least 5 years of age and snowboarders who are at least 7 years of age. Mountain Adventure classes are divided into 6 levels from beginner to all mountain.
Freestyle - for those who are at least level 4 skiers or snowboarders who would like to play in the terrain park.
Teletribe - for skiers who are at least level 4 and wish to free the heel.
Both Freestyle and Teletribe are afternoons only.
Rug Rats is new!
This program is for skiers age 4 and 5 and snowboarders age 5 and 6. Classes will be held on the surface lift only.
First session: January 4/5 - January 25/25 (4 weeks)
Half session: February 1/2 - February 8/9 (2 weeks)
Second session: February 15/16 - March 8/9 (4 weeks)
Early Registration closes at 5:30 on the Monday preceding the session and is rewarded with a $5 discount. All registration closes at 5:30 on the Wednesday before the start of the session. Registration forms must be filled out in person at our Logan office or at the Mountain Snowsports School. Classes are often filled before close of registration so please register early.

Snoopy Carnival - 15 March 2014
The grand finale of the the youth program is the Snoopy Carnival complete with races, obstacle courses, a giant snow slide, lunch, an Easter egg hunt, and other events that are very popular with kids and parents alike.
The cost is $30.00 for early registration. Please add $5 after March 10, 2014. See some pics here.
This class is for children between the ages of 3 and 5, with a parent/gaurdian, and alternates between Monday mornings and afternoons. Children are introduced to the fun of skiing and playing in the snow while showing parents how to best help their children. Cost is $25. No lift ticket is required for parent or child during the lesson.

||Beaver Mountain Ski Team
The ski team is for youth who are committed to racing. The team trains all day Saturday and Sunday, although skiers may choose to attend only one of the days. The team will travel to races and also participate in races at Beaver Mountian. Call our Logan office for more details.
||Wild Women Ladies' Specialty Clinics
Each clinic is just $50 and includes a light breakfast, group lesson, and lunch with your instructors. Lift tickets are not included. Meet in the lodge for breakfast between 9:00 and 9:45 am. Gear can be left in the conference room. Group lessons 10:00 am - 12:15pm. Lunch at 12:30pm in the Lodge. Ski and snowboard lessons are offered. Please register by noon on the preceding Monday at the Logan office or at the Mountain Snowsports School. Call 753-0921 for more information.
